FirstCare is a value-added service included in Intira's Netsourcing solutions, the outsourced IT and networking infrastructure for complex, mission-critical e-business applications.
Xign Corporation
Xign Corporation announced that the company is the first to receive venture capital funds using electronic checks transmitted via email on the Internet. Using Xign's own electronic payment solution, this is the largest transfer of funds ever completed via a digitally signed Internet payment instruction. Xign is targeting the large market opportunity to automate nearly 30 billion paper checks sent by businesses in the United States each year. Xign's technology grew out of the electronic check project of the Financial Services Technology Consortium (FSTC), and is the first eCheck solution of its kind in use by the U.S. Government.
Commerce One
Commerce One announced that The Royal Group has formed an alliance and contracted with Commerce One to build a global business-to-business e-marketplace for the textile industry. The new e-marketplace is aimed at interconnecting global textile companies, enhancing worldwide supply chains, bringing increased efficiency and reducing costs. The new venture is aimed at providing a unified e-commerce platform for the worldwide textile industry, enhancing existing business relations and opening up new trading opportunities to all types of organizations in the textile and derivative industries.
