Although Hacienda started as a co-development of The Prudential Insurance Company of America and Callahan Property Company, the project's ownership has greatly diversified over the years. From the two original owners in the early 1980s, Hacienda has developed into a mix of more than 75 owners and investors.

Ownership and investment interests cross a wide spectrum and include everything from personal portfolio investment to large institutional investors and investment trusts. User ownership also constitutes a substantial portion of Hacienda investment. Many of Hacienda's largest tenants own their own facilities and campuses. Because of its quality, investment activity in Hacienda has remained strong over the years, and many key owners have become long-term Hacienda partners.
